SORAT single officer response to an active threat: In the current age of active shooter events, seconds count. Law enforcement can no longer wait to assemble the team or wait minutes for backup. They need to interpret the attack immediately. History shows that most victims are targeted in the first eight minutes of the attack. The average 911 call + LE response is 5-7 minutes. We can no longer let the attack continue while we wait, concerned about our safety. We must protect the innocent. This course teaches techniques and tactics to minimize the solo officer's danger while decreasing the attacker's time without engagement!

Our highly trained and certified assessors complete site surveys and threat assessments. We will provide a complete evaluation of your location/building and review your facility's emergency operations plan if needed. The threat assessment considers the full spectrum of threats for a given facility or location, including natural, criminal, and terrorist threat opportunities. After the survey, a detailed report with recommendations will be completed and provided at the clients request.

This program consists of two parts: one lecture and one hands-on! The lecture covers the history and statistics of active attacks and events, law enforcement, and fire/EMS response. The program focuses on enhancing the lockdown procedures already in place. The participants are taught simple techniques that increase their chances of surviving a violent attack.
